Early frost may make shaded metal and stone surfaces slippery before midday.
COLD-WEATHER ACCESS NOTICE
Light morning frost is expected on exposed roofs, shaded stairs and bridge approaches as temperatures fall.
Use handrails where available and avoid rushing on metal or smooth stone steps. Street Works may place temporary barriers while isolated icy areas are treated.
Conditions normally improve after direct sunlight reaches affected surfaces.
