South Canal — Morning Fog Guidance
Reduced visibility may affect the narrow footbridges and canal approaches during early-morning fog.
WEATHER-RELATED ACCESS NOTICE
Seasonal morning fog may reduce visibility along the South Canal, especially at narrow bridges, lock approaches and towpath crossings.
Use installed handrails and bridge signals where provided. Cyclists should slow before blind approaches, and pedestrians should not stop in the centre of narrow crossings.
Normal access remains open unless a local barrier is in place.
