Copper Market Extends Saturday Hours; Stall 42 Continues to Exist in Two Places

Copper Market will remain open one hour later this Saturday following requests from traders and residents. Food stalls, booksellers, tool merchants and licensed mechanical-parts dealers will all take part. Experimental boilers and “objects whose purpose cannot be explained in one sentence” must still be removed before the evening bell.

The Market Office has also begun replacing stall numbers after discovering that Stall 42 currently exists in two different lanes. Both traders insist they had the number first. A third trader has complicated matters by painting “42½” above his own stall and claiming neutrality.

Visitors asking for Stall 42 are advised to specify whether they want buttons, onions or “the other one.” The Market Office says the numbering problem is being handled. The two Stall 42 traders say the Market Office is lying.
