Pressure Regulators
Devices that keep pressure steady and occasionally start arguments with engineers.

Pressure regulators use springs, valves and moving parts to react to changes in a line. When pressure rises, flow is restricted; when pressure falls, more is allowed.
They are mechanical, not emotional. Shouting does not help. Neither does hitting the gauge.
Residents should report faults and leave adjustment screws to engineers.
